Corporate Staffers Offer Tutoring Help

Downtown Educational Enrichment Program-Corporate (DEEP-C) is Protestant Community Center’s after school tutoring program for children from Newark’s public schools.  Each week, corporate executives and staffers welcome Newark students to their offices, where they donate an hour or more of their time to assist with literacy and math skills, and homework help.  Students consistently raise grade levels at least a letter grade each year.
