The Read for Life Festivals occur twice each year and are sponsored by the Prudential ROCS, CAC, PCCI, Newark Reading Is Fundamental, and Friendly Fuld Neighborhood Centers.  Children attend a day long event focussing on making reading fun. 

Activities include face painted, book making, story time, dancing, music and a hosts of other activities which are fun for the children as well as the volunteers.  This year's festivals are being hosted at Drew University and Rutgers, Newark.
